Walterexists Walk-In Tubs is a referral service. We connect homeowners in Chicago and the Chicago area with independent local providers of walk-in tubs and accessible bathing. We are not a contractor, and we do not do the work.

How Providers Are Matched

You tell us what you are planning. It might be a walk-in tub, a low-entry shower or a tub replacement. You share a few basics, like your town and the kind of home you have. We pass that along to a provider in our network who serves your area. The provider then reaches out to you.

Availability varies. Many providers can respond quickly. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What We Ask of Providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

• Give a quote in writing
• Explain what the price includes
• Follow local rules for permits and licensing
• Respect your decision, even if it is "not yet"

A Plain Look at Costs

Typical U.S. ranges, installed, look like this. Walk-in tubs often run about $4,000 to $12,000 or more. Walk-in showers often run about $3,000 to $10,000 or more. Tub-to-shower conversions often run about $2,500 to $8,000. Your job may land outside these. Size, plumbing, floor repairs and features all move the number. A written quote is the only way to know yours. If two quotes look far apart, ask each provider to walk you through the line items.

What We Do Not Do

Walterexists Walk-In Tubs does not install tubs, build showers or set provider prices. We do not decide what your insurance covers. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy.

How We Are Paid

Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when a homeowner is connected. You do not pay Walterexists Walk-In Tubs to request an estimate, and there is no obligation to hire anyone.
